Issi ke saaz se hai zindagi ka souz-e-darun
 

Third Aurat March was held in Lahore on International Women's Day, men, women and children participated in the event to highlight women's right issues in Pakistan. People from all walk of life joined the cause and marched from Press Club Shimla Pahari to Khyaban-i-Iqbal chanting and shouting their slogans in support of women rights. There was a stage waiting for the speakers and performers at the final destination where representatives of the Hazara community highlighted the missing person's issue as well as speakers from Transgender community showed their support. Also, there were few religious minorities like Christians and Hindus present at the event. 

One thing to mention here is the role of Punjab Police in today's event, they provided excellent security and acted in a very professional manor. The Organisers also deserve appreciation for arranging this event and running it so smoothly. Participants were also disciplined and well-mannered. There were few confrontational slogans on the play-cards but all in all it had a pretty positive vibe.
